To every one of you:
It has been a hectic couple of weeks but more than worth it thanks to the many contributions of an army of Elvis fans. Heather and I didn’t really touch ground till after Tuesday. We are now locked into CKOC’s 90th birthday (and my 45th with the station) and will emerge for some real needed personal time by Sunday. I will be thanking everyone who helped us at the Festival as we catch up on personal correspondence. There are so many of you and we love you all dearly.
Yours in great music .....
I cannot begin to express my thanks to everyone who helped with the festival. Al was amazing in the music set up, Brian kept us running smoothly, Rob fed us all really well. Rudy and the Angels lived up to their name and our volunteers were outstanding. The judges judged...the ETA's sang and the volunteers ran. To Mo and Laurie and all the Stage West Staff...they lead the way.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart......

Congratulations to Tim E. our new Grand Champion and to Zach Peddie, winner of the Youth Division. Our congratulations to the finalists and to all of our contestants. Each and every ETA is so extremely talented and dedicated to their craft it makes me proud to be a part of this festival. Thanks to for everyone who came out to support the contestants. A great time was had by all from the Friday night Memphis buffet and open mic to the finals (and open mic afterwards). I admire how all of the ETA's support each other and even though only one person can be named Grand Champion, you are all winners in my book! Looking forward to seeing everyone next year - details will be announced shortly about next year's event.
MARCUS WELLS, Judge, 2012 Toronto Elvis Festival
Thanks so much everyone for such a smashing family reunion this weekend! Congrats to all the guys - what a show we witnessed! I can honestly say that the caliber of the performances was really outstanding (and that, in turn, made judging super hard!) Thank you Nevin-Heather Grant and Laurie Wallace-Lynch namely, hats off to Angel Rudeboy, Kathy E. Martorino, Rob White, Dave Bayley and Gene Falbo, thanks to Shelli King-Weiss who makes everything trun smoothly and pleasantly. Also, thank you to my fellow judges Echo Starr Parker, Keith Kivell, Wendy King, Bill Tromblay, Burt and Mary, and organizer extraordinaire Pam Pettit. It's at events like this that I truly realize how much I love and appreciate our Elvis family so much.
WENDY KING, Judge
On April 22 1977 I saw Elvis Presley live in Detroit for the last time but then on April 22, 2012 I got him back for a few brief moments watching Tim 'E' Hendry. I consider that a blessing beyond measure. Congrats and now on to Memphis.
What a great weekend, one of the best, and can't wait for next year.

Nevin and Heather just want to say what a fantastic and awesome job you did with the Toronto Elvis Festival this weekend and what a beautiful and touching closing to the competition with Elvis singing "My Way" there wasn't a dry eye in the Theatre. Congratulations!!!! The Best Elvis Festival in Ontario!!!!
Nevin-Heather Grantto Marian Wood...thank you for the great idea of having Elvis sing Welcome to my World and My way on the big screens at Stage West. What a wonderful way to open and then close our festival. Thank you Anthony for doing the video.
